BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Avoid Active Skincare Ingredients: Stop using retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, or other exfoliants at least 3–5 days before your appointment.
No Waxing or Hair Removal: Avoid waxing, threading, or depilatory creams on the treatment area for 5–7 days prior to your visit.
Stay out of the Sun: Limit sun exposure and avoid tanning beds for at least 1 week before your appointment. Do not arrive with a sunburn.
Avoid Injectables or Laser Treatments: Do not schedule Botox, fillers, or laser treatments within 2 weeks of your skincare treatment unless approved by your provider.
Keep Skin Clean: Arrive with a clean face or back (no makeup, lotion, deodorant, or self-tanner on the treatment area).
Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your treatment to help your skin respond well
Disclose Medical Conditions & Medications: Inform your provider of any recent changes in health, medications (especially antibiotics, Accutane, or blood thinners), or active skin concerns.
