blush & blade lips
Pre & Post Care

Day One Aftercare
Right after your treatment, your lips may release a small amount of lymphatic fluid. This is normal. To support clean, even healing, gently cleanse your lips every hour using boiled, cooled water and a fresh cotton pad. This prevents scabbing and keeps the surface smooth. After each cleanse, apply a very light layer of your aftercare balm with a cotton bud. Avoid using your fingers so the area stays clean. Continue using a cotton bud for at least the first five days to maintain proper hygiene.
As you continue to heal
Your lips may feel dry, tight, or slightly gritty as they begin to heal. This is completely normal. Apply your a thin layer of aftercare balm as often as needed to keep the lips hydrated and comfortable. Consistent balm use supports better healing and color retention. Continue applying balm for a full four weeks.
Avoid the Following
- Toothpaste on the first night, since mint and similar ingredients can irritate fresh lip work
- Spicy food for the first few days
- Heat exposure for the first week
- Sunbeds for at least four weeks
- Any shop bought balms until the lips are fully healed
- Smoking or vaping during the initial healing period
