How do I apply for my Tattoo Artist License?
Fill out a Tattoo Artist application on the Florida Department of Health website and complete the 3-hour Bloodborne Pathogens and Cross Contamination Certification. For more information, click the link to follow the instructions on their website.
Once you complete your application, please send it to the Florida Health Department. Your license will take about a week or so to process. You will not need your license for theory, but you will need your license for your practical. You CANNOT perform permanent makeup on the skin without your license! So be sure to have this ready before you attend class.
Do I need to be an Esthetician?
The best part about becoming a Permanent Makeup Artist (in Florida), is that you do not need to be an Esthetician or Cosmetologist to perform perform permanent makeup. But, you do have to obtain your Tattoo License and follow state regulations and guidelines.​
Do I need to have prior experience to take these courses?
Nope! Both trainings are beginner-friendly and designed to guide you step-by-step, even if you’ve never picked up a machine before. You’ll learn everything from skin theory to technique and how to work with clients confidently.
What's the difference between the two masterclasses?
• Lip Artistry Masterclass focuses on Lip Blush tattooing – soft, natural color enhancement for the lips.

• The Ombré Effect Masterclass is all about powdery, gradient-style brows using a machine technique.
Both include theory, hands-on practice, and a private 1:1 live model session scheduled after training.
What's Included in the Training Kit?
You’ll receive a full professional kit that includes a PMU machine, cartridges, pigments, mapping tools, PPE, and more. Each kit is tailored to your course (brow or lip), and it’s yours to keep.

How do I secure my spot?
A non-refundable $800 deposit is required to reserve your seat. This non-refundable deposit goes towards the total amount of your training. The remaining balance is due 10 days before your training date.
