What to Expect
Getting your brows done at Blush & Blade is a personalized, luxury experience from start to finish. Here’s how it works:
Client Consultation
We’ll chat about your brow goals, lifestyle, skin type, and natural features to create a shape and style that flatters you. You’ll never feel rushed — this is your time to feel seen and heard.
Brow Mapping + Design
Using precise brow-mapping techniques, we design a balanced and symmetrical shape. You’ll approve the shape before we begin tattooing.
The Treatment
Using high-quality pigments and tools, your brows are tattooed using gentle, refined techniques tailored to your skin and desired look. Most clients find the process comfortable, especially with our numbing method.
Healing + Aftercare
Aftercare kit & instructions are provided to support smooth healing and amazing long-term results. You’ll experience light flaking and fading during the healing process — this is normal and expected.
Perfecting Session
Your complimentary touch-up (8-14 weeks later) ensures your brows heal evenly and beautifully. This is where we refine shape, depth, and color.

While Permanent Makeup Brows are a confidence-boosting solution for many, not everyone may be a suitable candidate. Your safety, satisfaction, and long-term results are our top priority, which is why we take your skin, health, and lifestyle into account before beginning.
You’re likely a great candidate if you:

Have sparse, uneven, overplucked, or thinning brows

Prefer a low-maintenance routine (no more daily filling in!)

Are healthy, not pregnant or nursing

Have balanced or slightly oily skin (depending on the technique chosen)
🚫 You may NOT be a candidate if you:

Are pregnant or breastfeeding

Have extremely sensitive or reactive skin

Are prone to keloid scarring or have certain medical conditions

Are currently on Accutane or have taken it in the last year
-
Have had recent Botox or cosmetic treatments near the brow area (within 2–3 weeks)
Your complimentary touch-up (8-14 weeks later) ensures your brows heal evenly and beautifully.
This is where we refine shape, depth, and color.
If you do not schedule your Touch-Up within the touch up time frame, additional costs may be required.
Touch Up (within 8-14 weeks): Included in price
Annual Touch Ups/Refreshers: $350
After 24 months - full price will be required.
The Touch Up rate is only on work created by artists, there will be a full price for work done by another artist.

PMU Brow Prep & Pre-Care
🔄 14 Days Before Your Appointment:

No Botox around the brow area
-
Stop using retinol, AHAs/BHAs, or exfoliants near the brows.

No brow waxing, tinting, microdermabrasion or chemical peels
-
Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, or any activities that can irritate or dry out your skin.
🧼 2–3 Days Before:

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners (Aspirin, Niacin, Advil/Ibuprofen, Aleve, Motrin, Excedrin, Warfarin, Coumadin, fish oil, Vitamin E or Primrose Oil). You may take Tylenol.

Hydrate! Drink plenty of water and keep the skin moisturized (but don’t apply any lotions on the day of your appointment).
🚫 The Day Before:

Do not wax, tweeze, thread, or tint your brows.
-
Do not workout.
-
No alcohol or caffeine
-
Avoid saunas or steam rooms.
✅ Day of Appointment:

Arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the brow area.
-
Eat a light meal beforehand to help keep you comfortable during the session.

Be prepared to relax — the process takes time, but it’s worth it!
PMU Brow Aftercare
Proper aftercare is essential to ensure optimal healing, retention, and beautiful long-term results.
🚫 First 24 Hours (Day of Procedure):

Blot brows gently with a clean tissue to absorb any lymph fluid.

Avoid touching, picking, or scratching the area.
💧 Days 1-7:
-
Clean brows morning and night with a damp cotton pad and gentle cleanser (only if recommended).

Apply the provided healing ointment in a very thin layer if advised.

Avoid water exposure on the brow area — use caution when showering.
-
No makeup, creams, or skincare near the brows.
❌ Days 7-14:
-
Brows may scab, flake, or appear patchy — this is completely normal.
-
Continue to avoid excessive sweating, saunas, or steam rooms.
-
Protect your brows from sun exposure.
⚠️ Healing Timeline (What to Expect):

Healing takes 4–6 weeks. Touch-up appointments are scheduled 8-14 weeks after the initial session.

Do not pick at scabs or flakes — this can result in pigment loss.

Use a gentle SPF on your brows once healed to protect color.
💉 Touch-Up Appointment:
• A second session is recommended 8-14 weeks after your first visit to refine shape, color, and retention.
• Book your perfecting session during your initial healing window to ensure best results.
